After graduating, with no clear path forward, I joined my father's law firm. A daft idea. I pivoted to writing feature films (!), supporting myself by creating corporate training videos—which it turned out I was good at. Lots of therapy helped me meet and marry a woman I loved. We moved to a run-down neighborhood to start a family, where I found myself leading the community to clean the area up. Then a businesswoman spotted I was actually a coach. Over thirty years later, I’m still devoted to supporting people to say “yes” to the person they are “yet” to become.
